A group of Travel For Teens USA students visited a Karen Village with Visiting Schools Program (VSP) in June 2023. Visiting this local village offered students a unique full-immersion cultural experience. The visit contributed to the local community while students also contributed by sharing their own cultures, history and language. The people in the Karen Village learnt from the students, just as Travel For Teens USA students learnt from the villagers. The ability to share experiences is the creation of a bond. Travel For Teens USA students surely gained a global perspective from their visit.
