All About the David Buck Oval

Since 2006, Traidhos Three-Generation Community has welcomed cricketers from around the world to the David Buck Oval* in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai. The ideal months for cricket tournaments in Chiang Mai are November to April. Seminars, team training and coaching classes can be held year-round.


Nestled in the Mae Rim valley, surrounded by mountains and rice fields and just twenty-five kilometres north of the Chiang Mai city centre and International Airport, Traidhos Community with the David Buck Oval offers an ideal venue to host local, regional or international cricket events for your club, school, tour, organisation or league.

 

The David Buck Oval and practice nets, different accommodation options, a choice of eating establishments and other amenities are all conveniently located on the 120-acre campus of the Traidhos Three-Generation Community for Learning

*formerly Prem Centre Cricket Academy. The Oval was renamed in memory of David Buck  (ECB Level 3 Staff Coach) who promoted the game of cricket in northern Thailand and who served as coach and Director of the Cricket Academy.
