Our camp began with the task of who can make a S'more without fire! So grade 5 started construction of solar ovens of all different designs to see who could do it. While our S'mores got toasting via the power of the sun, we played a few games to work on our "working together skills". Then our S'mores, all delicious and gooey from the suns power were devoured we headed out for our grade 5 overnight adventure. Next stop Mok Fa Waterfall. After some much needed running and rolling up and down hills, we pitched our tents, made our own dinner and slept under the stars. The following morning was all about forest mindfulness with a calm walk and observing the power of water. We painted beautiful watercolour post cards beside the stream and created lasting memories.
