10 – 14 October, 2016
On 10 October we welcomed Bromsgrove International School from Bangkok. The group spent one of their five days with us learning about fire-building techniques.
First up was fire lighting – the students learned how to light a fire using a flint and steel and the benefits of this method over more popular and convenient ones.
In the second activity they had the opportunity to try two types of bonfire: teepee and pyramid.
The third part of the learning experience was probably the favourite – cooking campfire bread!
