Beijing World Youth Academy International School has been coming to VSP since last year and, as we do with all of our returning schools, we considered ways to develop the program this time to make sure it keeps getting better. One thing that didn’t change, however, was the day of kayaking and an overnight stay at a houseboat in an artificial lake – and it’s a good job because more than half of the students mentioned one of these two activities as their favourite of the trip! They did a great job on the kayaks, finishing the five-kilometre journey to the houseboat in an hour and a half despite many of them never having kayaked before.
After their hard work they were allowed to swim, relax and enjoy the view.
One of the accompanying staff said, “VSP provided spectacularly well-organised activities for my students; everything we did was safe, fun and stretching for even the most timid of teenagers.”
