"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress;
 working together is success."
Henry Ford

Traidhos Three-Generation Community for Learning relies on the often hidden contributions of an army of gardeners, housekeepers, maintenance staff, accounts personnel and cooks who quietly keep the Chiang Mai campus operational year-round. Many have been part of the community for several years, some since the campus was first developed, twenty years ago, on the local rice paddy.  We believe that it is important to periodically take time away from regular work, to mix with staff from other departments and to experience the activities that exist on campus while  learning and laughing together.

One such well-being day took place in early July, when nearly one hundred and fifty staff participated in an Amazing Farm Race on the Traidhos Farm and experienced the low ropes course and string trail. The day received possitive feedback from all who participated and created a renewed energy when staff returned to their regular work.

Another group of staff travelled to Ayutthaya to join the Traidhos Barge Program for a river adventure taking in temples and historical sites, markets and communities as the boat travelled along the Chao Phraya River to Bangkok. Staff were asked to reflect on the games and observations they had made during the trip and take back to their work departments an aspect of teamwork. They were also required to identify a way of improving the process of one part of their regular work to make it more sustainable.

We expect that  making these corporate experiences part of the meaning of belonging to the Traidhos team, will give energy to our vision of being an international community of learners, across generations working together for a sustainable future.
